Postdoctoral

We are always interested to hear from motivated postdoctoral candidates with strong previous experience in virology, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, etc.; a strong publication record; excellent communication skills; and enthusiasm for basic research as part of a motivated team.

Predoctoral

Dr. Nibert is a predoctoral trainer in the Harvard Virology Program, the Harvard Microbial Sciences Initiative Graduate Consortium, and the Harvard MD-PhD Program. Students in these programs are encouraged to contact Dr. Nibert regarding a rotation in our laboratory. Prospective students who have been accepted to, or are interviewing for, one of these programs are encouraged to arrange to meet with Dr. Nibert through the respective program office.

Undergraduate

We are always interested to hear from motivated undergraduates with some previous experience in virology, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, etc. A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, spanning two or more semesters, is encouraged. Funding for Harvard College students is often available through the Harvard College Research Program.
